Jadavpur University, a State University and ranked #6 under the University category in the NIRF 2019 rankings and ranked among top 500 Universities in the world by QS 2019 rankings , has commenced its B.A. (Honors) admissions in the following streams (click on link for details)
1. Philosophy
2. Political Science
3. English
4. Comparative Literature  (Unique course not just in India, but also in Asia)
5. Economics  
In Economics, the course offered is 5-Year (10-Semester) BA(H)-MA Dual degree Integrated programme with lateral exit and entry at the end of Sixth Semester. Admissions to the B.A. programs shall be through Entrance Exams.  Each subject has a separate entrance exam on a different date.  While students from across India are eligible for the General category seats, the exam centre is only in Kolkata.
